Mr. Abdul-Jabbar Hashim Kolo Esq is an enterprising and dynamic lawyer who holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Leicester, UK. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a member of the International Bar Association.
He has participated in several high-profile cases in many areas of law such as Criminal Defense, Election Petition as well as Civil and Corporate Matters. Out of Court, he is a seasoned mediator and has mediated long-lived and enduring disputes. He has supported startup businesses in novel areas of the Nigerian Economy such as Crowdfunding, Agri-tech and Technology (or IOT) with legal solutions.
He has attended and participated in several workshops and seminars having to do with Law as well as International Business, Agriculture and Security. He has keen interests in contributing to the development of a robust and sustainable economy through fotifying progressive laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and promoting SMEs.
P.I Oyewole Esq. is a solicitor and advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and a Notary Public. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999 and has since remained in active legal practice. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom) and member of the International Bar Association. He has served in various Committees of the International Bar such as Arbitration Committee, Capital Market Forum as well as Individual Tax and Private Clients Committee.
P.I Oyewole has presented seminal papers on various platforms such as Arbitral Proceedings under the Rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investments Disputes (ICSID, 1964) University of Jos, 2009; and The Role of Arbitration in the resolution of Corporate Governance Disputes.
Salma is a passionate and dedicated lawyer who has an eye for detail. She possesses an astute understanding of the law and is committed to providing clients with creative and groundbreaking solutions to their legal issues. She has experience in general corporate law, private equity, corporate finance, mergers and acquisition, project finance, compliance and regulatory matters, company secretarial, amongst others.
She has further experience with international organisations, with notable involvement in a team which acquired a $100m facility from an exim bank. She is a smart, solution-oriented and meticulous lawyer who ingeniously combines her ability to critically analyze the most complex of legal problems and proffer top-notch solutions to clients’ satisfaction.
Mustapha Umar Ibrahim is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He obtained his First Degree, LL. B in London Metropolitan University and subsequently proceeded to and obtained his BL from the Nigerian Law School. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and International Bar Association (IBA).
Mustapha is an experienced lawyer in Corporate Transactional Law as well as Litigation. He has vast experience in Receivership Proceedings, Insolvency Proceedings, Debt Recovery, Asset Tracing, Perfection of Legal Mortgage amongst others. Mustapha has participated in notable Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) that involved matters t ranging from Receivership, Asset Tracings as well as settling/restructuring obligor debt. He also participated in AMCON’s Receivership Seminar held in 2021.
Muhammad D. Iliyasu is a hardworking and dedicated professional committed to achieving excellence in areas of corporate/ commercial law, civil rights, intellectual property and real estate. He graduated from Bayero University Kano and then subsequently obtain a BL from the Nigerian Law School.
Prior to joining Ateef Law Firm, he’s part of the team served as an ad hoc staff in the Legal Unit of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was part of the team that reviewed the Infectious Disease Bill, 2020 in collaboration with the European Union (EU), Federal Ministry of Justice, Federal ministry of Health, the Senate Committee on Primary Health Care and Communicable Diseases, and Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLac). Muhammad has attended several workshops and seminars including the Multisectoral Workshop for Financing Health Security in Nigeria organised by the Federal Ministry of Finance as well as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) course/exam and have been awarded Aviation Law – Fundamentals on the June 28th, 2020.
